IFP Academics
The UGA IFP is open to undergraduates from all majors at any point in their academic careers. Students attending other colleges are encouraged to apply, as well as high school seniors who will be entering a university in the fall. There are no prerequisites, and we assume no prior knowledge of the subject matter beyond high school coursework. Enrollment in the Honors College is not required.
Participating in the IFP can fulfill the UGA Experiential Learning and other university-wide degree requirements.
All IFP courses are built into the daily activities of the program. Regardless of your registration choices, all students attend all lectures and participate in all activities as a group. Students earning 4000 level credit will complete extra assignments during the program.
