Participation in the UGA IFP will require you to adapt to a very different learning environment. We’ve found that students who are enthusiastic and open to new ways of thinking, learning, and connecting ideas will get the most out of the program. If you love being outdoors, are curious about the natural world, and are ready to give up air-conditioned auditoriums and PowerPoint lectures for a hands-on education in America’s most treasured scenic areas, then we want you to apply!

- Application questionnaire
- Course selection form
- Two recommendations (from teachers, coaches, employers, camp counselors, etc)
- College transcript (even if you are in your first semester) – unofficial copy is OK
- High school transcript if you are in your first semester of college – unofficial copy is OK
- No application fee.
